About Erin
Erin Corbett is a maker of things based in Whitehorse, Yukon, on the traditional lands of the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council and Kwanlin Dün First Nation. They use video art and installation as a conduit to explore identity, culture, and belonging. Corbett's work often delves into themes of connection to place, honouring ancestry, and the intersectionality of identity, drawing from their mixed race, queer and settler experience. Through interactive elements, Corbett's pieces invite individuals to explore their heritage and how they move in this world.
